Xti wide angle lens

I was debating between either a wide angle, or a macro lens, and I decided to go with a wide angle, as it seems a little more practical. Anyone have any recommendations?

It all depends on what other lenses you already have. I love my 17-55 F/2.8 IS but I go to my Sigma 10-20mm when I need really wide.

Agreed, but it's really not wide on that body. Especially if you've already got the kit lens. The 10-20 would be one option but I really liked my Tokina 12-24 when I had it. It's fairly inexpensive, built like a tank and is very sharp.

How much are you looking to spend? Your budget will be your limiting factor but there are a few good ones out there. Also, what lens do you currently have?
