y wont my clowns b nice?

*Cries softly* Y don't my clowns ever feed my anemones?
I have a 4" cinnamon that attempts stealing shrimp chunks from my BTA, and two false percs who succeed at stealing mysis from the sebae they host... Yet other people say their clowns feed the anemones. My clowns have never done anything for their nems. The closest they get is tanking sand or gunk that gets on them and spitting it out outside the anemone's tentacles. Is this normal or is there some way that they'll change their behavior? Will patience and time bring them to their senses?

I have noticed that it is just different attitudes with different clowns. I have a pair that feeds a leather coral (go figure, doesnt do any good) and a pair that treats their LTA anemone like white trash do with their lawns. I wouldn't worry about it, but feed the fish first then sneak food to the nem so that it gets something.

well i have no problem feeding my nems, i just wish i could have the fun experience that other reefers get + the enjoyment of watching them drag some mysis etc. into the nem. My nem's have to grab and hold onto food for dear life. =P
