Y'all are invited to NARC May Meeting 5/17 (Sat) - fantastic door prizes!

Hi y'all,

You are cordially invited to May NARC (North Alabama Reef Club) meeting on 5/17/08 at Coral Reef Aquatics in Athens, Alabama (near Huntsville.) We start at 11:00 AM. Here's their location.

Coral Reef Aquatics told me today that they have tons of great door prizes to give away. They asked me to spread the words that everyone is invited to come. Here's a partial list of the door prizes:

2 Coralife skimmers: One of them is a large capacity skimmer.
Retro light kit
API test kits and supplements
2 captive bred blennies from Sustainable Aquatics (a type of miacanthus blenny?)
Reef mud

and bunch more stuff.

They also brought in over $5000 worth of corals and fish. A number of SPS's including a rare "bright shocking pink" montipora digitada. The store is stuffed to the gills.

CRA provides seafood stew lunch and some people are bringing yummy desserts and soft drinks as well.

Everyone is invited to come including CARC, and EARS. MTRC, ETRC, and those who don't belong to any clubs are also welcome as well.

Shucks, you guys, too? ETRC also has their meeting scheduled for the same day. Well, maybe next time. You guys are welcome to come anytime, of course. When CRA hosts us (generally twice a year), we have tons of great door prizes and good deals.

Yep. We are trying a new thing at this meeting -- kind of a mini frag swap. We'll have a raffle for newbies and some door prizes as well.
