So I am in the process in setting up my 2nd Saltwater tank and was looking at maybe having a pair of these gobies with a red banded pistol shrimp. The aquarium is a ten gallon. It has no other fish/inverts in the tank. The Pair of Yasha's would be the only two fish in the tank. But I am very skeptical about buying 130$ worth of fish that only get 2-3 inches long. I've never really bought any fish that are over 50$. Money is very short right now so it would be a one strike an your out kind of deal.. Should I go for the Pair w/ Shrimp or should I go with the standard 1 Yasha and 1 shrimp? Is there any advantage to getting 2 Yasha's instead of one? I would also have a sand sifting sea star. Would the shrimp eat/harass it? Would I be able to keep coral along with the goby/gobies/shrimp? Same with the sea star, is it compatible with say, mushrooms? What about other soft corals?
