I recently observed one of my yasha's picking up some sand and moving it to the burrow. He would also pick up sand from the same area and simply move it somewhere else other than the burrow.
Now, it is supposedely paired to a randalli pistol. However, I haven't seen my pistol in 8 days. Maybe he's cleaning the burrow in the absence of the shrimp? Or if the shrimp has molted and his exoskeleton is waiting to harden, then maybe the shrimp is simply sitting inside the burrow and not doing any digging?
