Yashi Gobies

Pisces II

New member
I have had my Yashi pair for about 5 months, they have been very shy and live in a rock together. Just last week my daughter saw them playing and swimming upside down. They are in a 14 gallon with a pair of Ocellarus clowns. Tonight one of the yashi is on top of their rock and acting very aggressively towards the clowns if they get close! I would love some babies, what do you guys think I should do?
Has anyone bred gobies that can give me advice?

Thats going to be a tough one. Collecting the fry and providing food will be the biggest challenge.

Look into rotifer culturing.

Be prepared to set up several tanks, and dedicate a lot of time.

+1^, It is possible but the fish is already tiny enough,so collecting the tiny fry and then caring for those fry will be a challenge. If you do it you might be the 1st person breed yashas! (I think)
