Ok, so right now in my 55 I have, 1 Royal Gramma, 2 Clown Fish, 1 Blue Hippo Tang, 1 Lemon Angel (think that was the name....yellow bith the hint of blue, and 1 Yellow Spotted Box fish. I bought the tank local for a great deal with every thing but the box fish. To good of a deal to pass up. So two days ago we came across a box fish the store got in. He is around a inch, so sure small. He is working out great. I plan to move everything into my 75 gallon tank that I was about to setup before this deal came across. Now, I am wondering what to do about a few issue. First, I am told the Lemon Angel and the Box fish are not reef safe? Is there anything that will work. I really wanted to set up a reef, but maybe I will just have to wait I suppose. If there is not option, so I just keep my live rock in the tank only then? I know some companies make simulated reefs so I was unsure what people prefer. Also, I just bought a CORALIFE AQUALIGHT PRO 48" HALIDE POWER LUNAR LIGHT off ebay. I had already placed the bid before I bought the fish. Should I just run the light without the MH lights? Or what would you suggest. I started into the hobby wanting to do a reef, but now that has changed some what. I will do a reef tank at some point, but I want to make sure I set this tank up right first.

i would move everyone except the lemonpeel and the boxfish into the 75 and make the 75 the reef.
turn the 55 into a fowler, and add one or two more fish to it that are not reef safe.
the lemonpeel will bother most polyps and the box fish, well, will eat everything he can get his mouth on.
my cowfish ate my harliquin sepent star... and steals food from my dogface puffer. nuff said

A yellow boxfish (Ostracion cubicus) can grow to be 18 inches long and will eventually need at least a 125 gallon tank. They may release the toxin (ostracitoxin) when stressed or dying which will kill everything in a tank that size (55) including itself. In addition, they need vegetation in their diets to prevent intestinal blockages and for nutrition. Do not feed him floating foods as they are prone to ingesting air. Boxfish do not have scales and are very sensitive to copper and prone to ich. They have small mouths and stomachs so ideally they need to be fed at least twice a day.
