Yellow Coris attacking Elegance coral?

I recently noticed the odd flatworm (brownish, 4mm around) on 3 of my blue mushrooms. I decided to add a Yellow Coris Wrasse to our 140 gal mixed reef tank. Things were great for the first 2 days. Swimming up and down the tank searching for and picking up food. Gets along with other fish, though the damsel chase it from its favorite corner. Then I noticed my Elegance coral was closed up all day. Did full panel of test only to find all parameters were good. By change I notice the wrasse sheepishly hovering over the Elegance, then . . Boom . . . all of a sudden he made a quick dash to the Elegance & tore off a purple tip & chunk of tentacle. The Wrasse nibbled, spat out the tentacle & swam away. Ten minutes later it repeated the process, explaining why my Elegance was retracted during the day. I assume the Wrasse does this all day. I feed once a day, tanks has tons of pods & other small inverts. Interestingly enough the flatworm population has not changed.

Has anyone else experienced a flatworm ignoring, Elegance eating Yellow Coris Wrasse?

Any suggestions?

Thanks
