Yellow Coris in New Tank

I have recently set up a 120G with dry marco rock that is cycled but still pretty bare in terms of life. I am seeding with some well established rock.

I would like to transfer all of my fish from my 50G over. I am worried that if I transfer my yellow coris to the tank, his constant hunting will prevent the rock from being colonized by pods and the like.

Should I leave him in the sump? If so how long until the rock should be able to accomodate his hunting without being wiped out. Will the pods thrive irrespective of the coris?

What do you all think?

Just put a rock pile in the back corner that he won't be able to worm his way into. Are you talking a real coris wrasse? Or an H. Chrysus?

Can you set up a pod house? In the back corner of the tank just pile some lr rubble. There shouldn't be any space for the chrysus to wiggle himself into it. You can spot feed that area too if you want to.

You have a sump with a fuge? Could buy some pods and dump'em in the fuge and the pod pile in the display tank. That's a large tank, much larger than my 29g :)
