Yellow Coris Wrasse

I have never had problems keeping this fish, assuming we are talking about Halichoeres chrysus - I have always kept them in groups (simliarly to the radiant coris, Halichores iridis). I have heard reports of them eating flatworms, and even the dreaded red bugs. They need a sand bed, and I have seen larger ones flip snails and hermits.
Don;t know why it would be labeled expert only, they seem to do great, assuming they don't jump out.

for a couple of years in my 44 gal. pentagon tank. I had it since it was about 1-1/2" and it grew to about 3" - 4". I've seen them list it as "expert only" and never understood why. It was a very easy fish to keep. Every night it would just disapear about 8PM and reappear about 10AM every day. It would burt into the sand at night or when scared.
I only had about 1" - 2" inches of argonite and it seamed perfectly fine. It ate everything I fed my tank from frozen brine to flakes.
It was pretty peaceful for the most part. It started to chase my Copperband a little, but may have been because the size tank. It eventually went carpet surfing. I would recommend a lid or a nice sized tank rim. Hope this helps.
