I (and my family) fell in love with a yellow corris wrasse. we were about to buy it, when I remembered that my 6-line wrasse might be mean to it. Was I right? or will it be ok to get?

I have 4- 6 lines and there mean. But they get a long with each other. I had a pod problem. And cant caught them now. I think they would harm the corris.

How long has the six line been in the tank? If it has been in there a while, I wouldn't even try. My sixline has been in the tank for two years, any new wrasses are added, they are instantly killed.

I had a sixline and a yellow coris wrasse in together at the same time. I put them in at around the same time and everthing went fine. It seems to me that the sixlines get mean rather suddenly. Mine was shy and timid and then one day he was a lot bolder and agressive. It was never bad enough to take him out of the tank though.

I have a yellow coris now, he's temporarily in an eclipse 12 (with two ocellaris clowns, we recently aqcuired some fish when my spouse's work decided to shut down their tank.)

How much of a risk would the yellow wrasse be in my tank if I have cleaner, red, and CBS shrimps? Different sites seem to have different opinions on these. (Though really, I suppose my 6line, banggai, or tobacco bass could be a threat to the shrimps.)

This fish is cute, and has a nice personality, but I haven't yet decided if it's worth risking him in a tank with my shrimps (and 6-line.)

I kept a yelllow Coris in my 30 cube with two cleaners and it never even looked at them. I hope they are safe as I am thinking of putting 4-5 in my 240.
