What are the general rules on keeping a lion? can i keep other fish too or is he gonna mess with them? Corals?

Just need a general idea because ive been eyeing this fish since you posted it

He will eat smaller fish. For example he ate 2 of my Helfrichi firefish. Mainly any small and thin fish like a firefish will be eaten. Smaller peppermint shrimp will be eaten. In my tank he has gotten along fine with small tomato clowns, medium size chromis, red hawkfish, Orange Spotted Filefish and my cleaner shrimp. As far as corals he won't bother them.

general rule is that type of fish will eat any fish/shrimp 2/3 of his body size or less as with all lion fish. however they are slow swimmers so most fish can run away and hide to avoid being eaten. I had a small black volitan once and he was not big enough to eat the large cleaner shrimp i had but he would hover over it and eye it up real good thinking about it. it was funny to watch.
