Yellow Eye Kole - sick | Velvet?

I have had this Kole tang for almost a month. He was doing fine for about 2 weeks then started to get a bunch of white patches all over. Im pretty sure its not Ich as i had ich and treated for it. He eats lots, swims lots, and seems generally happy with the other fish. He does not rub against rocks as a fish with ich would.

I dont no what to treat with as i am not sure what he has. All my other fish are fine...
I have read i can treat with pazipro in a hospital tank.

I feed daily:
Nori seaweed to my tangs only
flake food 1x to the entire tank
Brine shrimp to the entire tank

So they are not starving.

I know it could be stress that causes the color change, but it is not uniform and seems like its some kind of sickness. He has lots of rockwork to hide in so thats no issue either.

Water parameters:

Nitrate-3.5

That to me looks like symptoms of velvelt as I've seen my fishes get that and then a day or two later the velvety coat sits in and they are dead. When I get velvet in the past...the fish usually will not live past 10 to 14 days. Becuase your guy was doing fine for two weeks and then that...I'am not sure but i'll be sticking around to see if anyone else knows.

I'm not great with pics; but this looks like HLLE. Velvet shows up as a velvety sheen, often golden in color, and the fish is obviously very sick. No appetite, sedentary, often hanging in one spot near the surface, etc.I doubt anyone knows for sure what causes HLLE. The dust from carbon seems to be getting a lot of blame lately. HLLE isn't contagious or really dangerous. It usually clears up with pristine water, good diet & vitamins, and time. I would treat this fish, and all of your fish with Prazi-Pro. The fish could have a fluke/worm problem and PP can be used in your DT.

Thanks for the advice so far guys!

I am going to start adding some Pazipro to the tank for all the fish.

Ill also soak the seaweed in some meds/vitamins which will help treat the HLLE(if thats even what it is).
Going to use:

Vita-chem
Selcon/Zoecon
Kent marine garlic

Will post a update if i figure out how to cure him.
