Yellow Head Sleeper Goby

I have one of these guys. Everywhere I have read says they are reef safe.

He is driving me crazy because he is dropping sand all over my corals!!!

My LFS said he would eventually stop, but that is their nature.

What can I possibly do?

It's kind of in their nature. If he gets comfy in a particular borrow, he'll likely calm down a bit, but I wouldnt plan on it stopping completely. your choices are pretty limited, go barebottom (if you'd like, though the fish may not care for it) or find it a new home.

I have a watchman goby and he is all yellow. He only drops the sand right after he eats food or a copapod. I have never seen mine take a mouth full and not filter it out right away.

Its what this fish does. Mine has taken home underneath some rock, so he pretty much sticks around there now. But he will drop rocks on your corals.
