Yellow Leather

I can't get this Yellow Leather to stand up straight. I have had this coral for a few months now and I've moved it everywhere in the tank with the same results. I have also shifted it in the sand to try to help it stand up straight. I noticed that the bottom of the stalk has this kink in it. Would it be safe to cut the bottom of the stalk.

I have the same exact Leather. This is what I did. I took some of that 2-Part Epoxy and made a long medium sized peice, kinda like your rolling out dough. I then wraped it around the "tail" section of the leather to a small peice of live rock a couple times. Let the epoxy cure and now it doesn't go no where.

I had the same issue, what I did was find a hole in the aquascape that would allow the trunk to fit. You may have to move some rock around to get the desired hole.

If his/her "tail" is "healed over," SuperGlue Gel frequently works well. I have had it work even when not fully "healed over."
