Yellow Star Polyps...reproducing?

I was just wondering if my yellow star polyp colony has augmented? At first they were under 220 watts of PC but then I mad a big upgrade to Tek T5s. So as you can see they love the T5s better. But how do they spread?

When I first got them and were under PCs:

After I had them for a while and not too long after they were under the T5s

So does this look like they are expanding their colony?

What kind of question is that? Of course they are expanding... look at how large the colony has gotten.

No idea how they spread... I don't have any unless you want to donate some.

I think they just grow new stalks from the base and over time the base gets bigger.
