Yellow tailed blue tang........and you guessed it.....ich!

So I just recently setup a used 280 gallon and transfered all of my fish over from my 125 to my 280. Inevitably my blue hippo caught ich and it has been so long that I can't remember how you treat it. I have a box fish that has it as well. I was going to start by treating with melafix and pimafix but I dont know if there is more I can do. I am getting a replace 40w UV bulb for the UV sterilizer that came with the tank. Should I start by treating with melafix and pimafix? I think the boxfish may have a bit of fungal fin issues so i think melafix would help. I am always scared to add medicine. Any ideas anyone?

I am running a fish only tank so the setup could have copper added. I always get rather nervous adding the stuff since I have two tangs in the tank and a boxfish which I have heard are sensitive to the stuff.
