Yellow Tang & Hippo Tang for Sale

After many talks with the wife I am going to downsize my main tank. I have 2 of the most beautiful tangs around. They are not overly aggressive or territorial. They will require a large tank and plenty of room to swim. They are currently in a 75 gallon with lots of hidding places and plenty of swimming area. Larger then 75 gallons is required for these fish to remain happy and healthy. They get allong great with each other and will give a better price if purchased together.

Hippo tang is about 5 1/2" tail to nose - $70
Yellow tang is about 4 3/4" tail to nose - $50

The measurements above are rough est. They didn't want to wait for a measure and a pic. A lot of club members have seen these tangs and they are fat and healthy.

$50 is a bit low as she is a beauty. At her size you would pay about $100 - $130 at most places. Would like to sell both together as they seem to school together. I want to wait to see if anyone can take both first. Thanks Al

How are the corals doing al? The brain looks like its kinda hurting.

The corals are doing well except for the brain and the clam. All the softies are doing well

Are you going to try to nurse them back to health or just see how it goes?

I am going to give them to Andy to nurse back to health. The lights I have are shot but since I planned on taking them down I didn't replace them. the bulbs really surprised me. Instead of the par value dropping off slowly they dropped straight off. I could actually see the sifference from one day too the next. They are 14 months old and I was going to order new ones at 12 months but new I was planning a change so I held off. Wish I had bought new bulbs since those 2 corals were more 3 times the cost of new bulbs. Andy should be able to get the clam to color up the brain will take a while.

Al, I have recently found out that yellow tangs can live along side of purple tangs. Before I thought they wouldn't go together. I might be able to give it a home if you don't mind it going into a 75. I will try to give you a call in a little while which I was planning on doing anyways.
