yellow tang question

Divers den has a trio of yellow tangs for sale today do you think these would become a problem ? And what does a trio mean exactly? I know its 3 obviously but are they proven to get along I know tangs don't always do well together? If so could this ever change?

There is always a chance they could become aggressive with one another. However, as long as your tank is large enough that they can have their own space I don't see a problem with this pick Also, yes they are all kept together. So you shouldn't see a problem!

it's a risk....i had 3 kill each other in a 281g over a couple of weeks. now i have 3 in a 20 gallon qt; for over a month, there has been very little aggression.

It depends on their maturity as well as tank size. I have seen geoups of yellow tangs work in aquaria, but only in huge tanks. What I have seen is they will form pairs, the pairs will pick a territory, and any odd tangs out get killed eventually. This is contrary to what we see in nature with yellow tangs as they normally form large schools.
