yellow tang with red blotches

I've had him for a year now and he recently started getting red spots all over him. One of his fins is nearly orange. Is this a disease or what? I first noticed it after I accidently left my powerheads unplugged overnight. I sent my camera in for repair so I can't take a picture.

This is a common problem with yellow tangs .. check the "sticky posts" covering this subject at the top of the disease forum.
