So my tank is back to normal salinity. I havent seen signs of ich or anything on my fish anymore. Its been a week so far in normal salinity. I still have traces of cupramine though about 1.0 to 1.5ppm However my yellow tang had something growing on him that fell off and left huge holes in his skin someone susoected lympotysis or however its spelt.
Anyway. I noticed over 3 or so days now his body is turning red where the marks are and its spreading to his tail and sfuff too.
Im thinking this is a bacterial infection. I have a whole tub of Furan 2 from api. Thr only problem is both of qt tanks are occupied. The 20g has my corals and 5g im treating for ich and velvet so i deff dont want to put him in that. I also dont wanna risk hundreds of dollars of corals i dunno if furan will kill them.
What can i do ? Can i just dose this in my 135g ? I have nothing in this but fish sand and rock. I just worry il kill off my beneficial bacteria cause and ammonia spike and kill another fish. Buying another tank isnt an option right now i am flat *** broke and i have no room for a 10th tank in my house. I guess i can go see how much petco has a 5g tank for an put some smaller peices of live rock in it and a air stone but its going to be extremely difficult to catch him as well... uhh
