Yellow Tang

I would really like to get a yellow tang but I want to make sure I am not putting it in a tank that is to small. I know most people say a 75 gallon min and I am putting up a 60 gallon frag tank. The tank is 48x24x12 so it would have room but I am worried that only being 12 inches deep would be an issue.

I did it in a 50g Rubbermaid. They have plenty to hide and square footage to swim. They are hardy, cheap, and great for a frag tank IMO. I can toss them into a 300g if I wanted to but they are happy and constantly grazing.

Thanks. I know this is not an ideal size tank but I thought with the 48x24 footprint they might be okay. Just don't want to have them in a tank that is too small.
