Yellowchest Twist Wrasse

I came across a Yellowchest Twist Wrasse yesterday and found him to be an awesome looking fish. I had never seen one or even heard of one so I went to asking the lfs guy questions concerning the care instructions for this wrasse. From the questions that I asked it seemed that my tank has what it takes to keep him happy. SO, I brought him home.
My new fish looks to be doing great including eating frozen foods.
Now after searching info online I find out that this type of fish needs a sand bed to sleep in and I only have crushed coral/aragonite.

Can I add a sand bed to my existing setup in a couple of areas?

Thanks

you could try to add a tupperware container with sand in it for him to dive into. just check the overall max size of the fish and make sure the container will be large enough in the longterm for him to dive into.

Exactly. Anampses also are copepod/amphipod hunters so it would be best if you had a tank of sufficient size. Feed nutramar ova, capeline fish roe, PE mysis.
