I saw one of these at a LFS, he was at least 7" and 1" thick, he was in a tank with 4 Clown Triggers, blue throat all around 5" I was wondering how aggressive they are. Are they as aggressive as Blueline Triggers or not as aggressive?

stunning fish when full grown !! and not a tank killer imo, but I guess with any truly large fish (esp. trigger) it's a crapshoot. but dang, how could you pass up such a beauty? :D

<--- weak-willed, don't listen to me

I'll play the other side......I don't find them that pretty and I have seen a large one in at Marine World with many other fish, but the tank also had 12' sharks in it to give an idea to the size of the tank. I still don't know about these fish and their growth ability in the home aq. But if properly taken care of for 30+ years maybe it really would get to be 2' long. I'm bound and determined with my clown trig to hit the foot mark let alone the 50 cm posted on fishbase.

If you like it, go for it. Here is what I am basing my opinion on...this is the fish at Marine World.

That is exactly what it looks like, almost looks the same size, I have a Clown, Niger, and a Humma Trigger and might be getting a Queen Trigger this week. If not overly aggressive, I might think about getting him, they due look cool when they get a little bigger
