Yet ANOTHER GSP Question

I have 2 mats - one clipped to the back of the tank with old MaxiJet hangers and another one rubberbanded to a rock in an island.

Does the old mat adhere to the surface eventually or is it only the new growth?

Be very careful with this coral. Check out other threads of people who love them at first and then realize that they can take over a tank and make it very difficult to grow anything else.

Thanks. That's why I have one on an island in the middle of the sand and the other is clipped to the back to grow as a tank background that can easily be trimmed to keep it off the rock.

yeah new growth and I 2nd keeping it away from the rocks because once it takes hold, its a nightmare to get rid of!
