Picked up part #2 yesterday. Spent most of the night acclimating and arranging the rocks. Everything looks great! Will post pics later.

'bout time you got pics up :) 11 days of false hopes...
Looks good. Part 2 just gets better every day. I bet your algae prob is gone :) Those critters get busy.

hahaha!

Yeah, it does look good. Are you going to add other fish eventually?

yeah. I plan on getting some fish. The remaining mantis shrimps are elusive. The black sea urchin was less than a 1/4" (w/o spines) in diameter. It is now well over 1" in diameter. It just mows done the hair algae you see in the picture above. My wife named it "toro". She also named the sea cucumbers: vlassic, pickles, gerkin, (forgot the other one--I'm sick now so my memory is not good). I'll post new pictures tonight. Something is eating one of my gorgonians. Very tiny crustaceans. I'm bummed about that.

Maybe when you are feeling better you will come up with a solution for the crustacean problem. The shot glass trick might work with those tiny ones. Lean it up again the gorgonian they're feeding on with a little piece of shrimp in the bottom.

Hope you feel better soon!

Things are going well. 3 days ago I disovered a pistol shrimp. There are at least 10 porcelain crabs in the tank. On plant is going crazy. Red kelp is growing fast too.

Stupid thing double posted and you can't delete, so I just edited this one so as to add to the confusion. :)

Nice greenery. I had a nice amount of caulerpa up until I got part 2. Between the urchins and some crab that ate it like it was candy, it is 100% gone in the DT. I have some in the fuge and plan on reintroducing it now that the crab is gone. Some kind of large spiny long legged critter that got sumped when he started pulling polyps off my candelabra. Then he ate half the caulerpa in the fuge in about a week. He went to the lfs.

Anyway, looking good. Now get some nice caribbean blue and green polyps and start your zoa garden. :)

Wow that's some incredible aquascaping. Is it just stacked.

Incredible tank!

SB

Thanks. It is stacked. The 3 bottom pieces are about 18" long by 12 " wide. There is just soo much life on these rocks it is incredible.
