I've been away from the hobby for a few years now. In the past I was trying to save money and skimp on my equipment (which doesn't really work well); But now I have the money to throw full force. I haven't really kept up with all the new technology. Back when I was last into the hobby T5s were the lights to have. Now it's LEDs. Im wodering how you would spec your dream tank; if you could build a tank from scratch it had a very open budget. Im kind of looking for examples of the latest, bestest equipment setups.
My tank equipment will all have to be contained in the cabinet under the tank. The tank will be a 55 acrylic w/ a 20 g sump/refugium. I need an LED lighting fixture that sits on top and can support clams and a few sps. Id like to have it as maintenance free as possible auto monitoring and dosing everything if possible. How might one do it all?
