John GOt some really great stuff in yesterday, He sold out of all his mushrooms within hours, luckily he saved a blue one for me. He is the coolest guy.

He got some really nice SPS for you SPS folks. I got a blue mushroom and a rock with 4 different green mushrooms.

Yeah, I was in there yesterday and he had a lot of really cool looking stuff. From some very nice looking blue zoas to lots of SPS frags....and some very unusual stuff too...he's got what he was ID'ing as some type of Caulastrea, but they were the largest heads I've ever seen on one, and the skeletal structure looked more like that of an Euphyllia...pretty crazy looking..

those blue zoo's he sold for $125 each, had like four of them. There were 2 guys at the same time that just snatched them up, they go for like $400 normally.

hey now! we're just as bad as you 'colored sticks' people, karl! :) plus, zoas are usually easier to care for-- no stn, rtn, aefw, redbugs, etc. :D we just have nudis and spiders--much easier to deal with, i think. :)

 Nothing wrong with it. I'm just surprised someone would still pay $400 for blue zoos, as they're pretty common now.

I'd go nuts if I collected them. So many different color morphs come out every week. Have you seen the Purple Rain Zoos?

LOL purple rain zoo's

The true blue zoos are not common from what john said, He can barely get them, his wholeseller said they found some and he took them....

They wanted to sell him a $1500 superman monti, thats insane, said that his wholeseller sold a $5000 superman that was like a foot long by 8 inches wide.

That's insane! Especially from a wholesaler. Even if you were to split that $5K piece into 48 half inch frags, than try to sell them at the retail price of the ExoticReefs True Superman ($75), that's still only $3600.

You can get tubs blue zoos from atlantis for $12 a polyp. And these are aquacultured. The ones I got from them have doubled in just a few months. Try doing that with ocean fresh zoos. It'll take 6 months before they even start growing.

Can somebody just go and take pictures and post them here, so that those of us who are farther away can better decide whether or not to burn the gas to go and check it out?

If you go to his web page, often times this can give you an idea of what he has, but to be honest the web page does not show nearly all the coral he has in stock and does not always have his new stuff on it.

I think the pictures he wants is from what he has now in stock...
yeah i meant to add that possibility to my post but then i noticed the time!~) i was a little late picking up lil shawn!~)

!~)

John has a bunch of corals new in stock. I was in there today and he said that he got over $5000 of corals in yesterday. He has a bunch he is yet to frag and when I was there he was trying to find room for all the LPS's in that large display tank. If someone is looking for neon green bubble he had two of the best looking ones I have seen. Also lots of zoos (of course) and some great looking SPS's too.

He has a school (3) of yellow tangs in one of his coral tanks and they look really cool. Something I would want to do if I could ever set up a large tank.
