anywhere between five and 10 times per hour turnover is the flow rate. If you have anemome's then stay on the high side, if not, then lower it.

I agree that 5-10 times an hour for your sump. The tank should have 20-30 times turnover in the tank for LPS and softies. 30 times plus for SPS.

125 here -- 6.5X turnover through sump, 32X turnover in display (mixed with softies, LPS and SPS).
