why do my yumas melt away, have about six in a 60 gallon setup under 260 watts of pc's. is there anything to do to prevent this melting or dying. water test out perfect.
Your lighting may be too intense. Sometimes yumas don't like very intense light and react by "melting". Try placing them lower in the tank or perhaps somewhere that doesn't get as much light and see how they do.
Yeah, put them under a ledge but mainly, LOW FLOW
On top of that, they are just finniky...I've had several next to each other with some melting and the others fine???
