ok, so I have been really getting into the florida rics, and I have them in my "Ricordia Tank" with my Yellow Wartskin Angler. But I was consider getting some yumas, like the ones on zoanuts.com and wanted to know how hard they are too keep. I have an 18g high tank and have 72watts of PC lighting. Is that Good for them or on the short side for keeping them?

Any general info on them?

they are easy to keep if you can get them past them the first 30 days. Low light for the most part.

I agree. I'd like to add they like low flow as well.

I'd suggest not only acclimating them to your water, but also to your lighting. Basically keep them in the shade for the first month (especially under MH) then slowly move them out into the light.

So, they don't need really high lighting? The Yumas, will still thrive in my pc lighting?

You got it. As long as you acclimate them right they'll do just fine under PC lighting. With an 18 high you might want to eventually move them up to halfway in your tank or higher. 72W isn't much light.

Another tip: They hate temperature swings. Try to keep your temp steady.
