Yumma dropping babies

One of my Yummas is a proud parent. LOL.

I've never had a ric or yumma divide until two weeks ago I think it started. I had a hammer get in the current and got a little too close to one. It was stinging the yumma and it started to recede. So I pulled the hammer away and two weeks later there are two little babies sitting next to it.

Do you think the sting from the hammer triggered it to bud?

its possible .. my floridas never really split i only had one split .. but my yumas split when i clean the tank sometimes and agitate them

IME when a yuma starts to move for some reason they will bud like that. I moved a rock around in my 120 today that had some yuma's on it and discovered nice buds on a piece that fell off. Now that's cool!
