Thanks for your time.

By the time I get get home tonight, I fully expect to find my new YWG dead. :(

I purchased a YWG from my lfs Jan 29th. They received the fish a week prior. The fish looked great! When I asked them to feed it, it gobbled up the mysis shrimp. So i bought it.

I placed it in a 10 gallon qt tank. I've been feeding it a mixture of items - cyclopeze (which it didn't like ???), mysis(seemed to like), formula 1 (just ok), and new spectrum pellets(just ok). It always ate - but never very much. The food had to be very close - wouldn't go out of his way to get it. Fish didn't seem very active - thought it might be goby behavior - typically hung out in one spot all day long. I did a 1-2 gallon water change every 3 days. Last couple of days I noticed his fins were never extended - always flat, clamped to the body. Yesterday I noticed what appeared to be a scratch or ulcer or something - it certainly wasn't there prior. His appetite decreased. I dosed 4 ml each of Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Pimafix & Melafix - directions said 5ml for 10 gallons. The qt has no other residents, accept for one turbo snail.

Things went down hill over night. This morning his stomach looks sucked in, his body looks kind of oddly shaped - kind of goes in an out, his color is bad, he hiding more, and has no interest in food.

What went wrong? My lfs said that it was wild caught. Any idea where YWGs are typically caught, could it be cyanide? If its an infection from the cut/scratch - could it go bad so quick?
