Zebra Dartfish or Spotted Cardinal Group

Looking at a group of one or the other and wanted to get some feedback and your experiences with either. Tank is 400+ gallon reef and will house peaceful fish. I think both are interesting fish, durable and inexpensive. I appreciate your thoughts or experiences.

I have a pair of Zebra Dartfish. Great fish but they spend a lot of time hidden in the rocks.

We have a pair of scissortail dartfish that spend most of the time hidden under their rock... I am not surprised that zebra dartfish do the same thing.

I don't need fish that are going to hide. Plus with them under rocks they may have a problem with the jawfish. Looks like some cardinals.

The spotted/bangaii cardinals will pair up and then kill off all other bangaiis.

Look at the threadfin cardinals. They are peaceful and you can keep them in groups. I will be getting a group of them for my 300g.
