zebra hermits

so my zebra hermit is getting larger than I expected especially in comparison to my tiny algae eating hermits. I was wondering how safe are these guys? he seems to be getting kind of aggressive towards my shrimp and snails when there is food present. Should I just boot him to the sump?

so far it's food. I've seen him pick up a nassarius snail and throw it when it came too close to him though lol. I just didn't think this guy would get so big!
