Bought this about a month ago for $140. It is a dual cylinder design (one slides inside the other) so there is no jamming when shaking the media.

Originally the inner tube was the taller tube and you grabbed it and moved it up and down. This was a bad design as when you moved the inner cylinder up and down water splashed everywhere. I modified it to have a handle that you can use to pump the media. The inner tube is now shorter than the outer and it no longer splashes when using it. It comes with a quiet one 1200 feed pump.

That's not a 1200 GPH pump is it? I'm assuming it's just the model number.

Just the model number. It is a 300gph pump with a flow valve. Lowest setting is 100gph.
