Zeovit spur 2 works awesome without the entire system.

Just wanted you guys to know that i recently got the zeovit supplements but i got the spur 2 first. I thought hey ill shoot this in and see what happens in a non zeo tank until my other stuff comes in. I couldnt believe it. I had about 4 corals that completely sucked. I mean monkey shat brown stags. I dosed the full dose on the bottle and left it alone. Came back in the next day and the same corals that were sick looking were now a vibrant emerald green. I couldnt believe it works that fast. It works even better in a low nutrient tank which mine currently isnt. just wanted to share with you guys that this stuff is really cool. Just dose accordingly or you can mess stuff up. lmk what you think or if need help with dosing. i am in no way in with zeovit gang at all. Just a reefer giving some good info out. Kevin

Read the Zeo guide, what your doing is not suggest by zeo and possibly dangerous for your corals.

The Zeo Guide on Zeo spur2.

"It is possible to reduce the amount of zooxanthellae so much that the coral will not get enough energy via photosynthesis."

"We do not recommend the use of this product during the initial starting phase of the ZEOvit system. There is too much change and your corals will not have enough time to adjust safely."

If you bought all the other stuff at least you will know what the coral will look like in the end but dosing as is seem prretty dangerous when even the people selling think what your doing is a bad idea.

I have 0 interest in telling you something that i havent tried. I was honestly surprised it did anything considering my tank has high nutrients right now. I think all it does is thin out the tissue on the coral so you can see the underlying color. I guess i go lucky with using it. It worked for me. I guess unless you have some nutzz to try then i would stay away from it. I was just trying to pass on the fact that it did work in my tank. I wish i woulda taken pics before. I couldnt believe it worked that fast. All im sayin is dont knock it till you try it. Kevin
