Zero Edge On Solaris!!!!

yea I used to go to school up there. seainthecity is an amazing store. esspecially now that she has the propogation license and has the whole "farm" next door. last time I was up there I looked through the farm and actually got one of the frags out of it. Marcye is the nicest store owner I've ever met and actually one of the nicest people I've ever met! She takes care of me and that's why even though I live down here now I will still make trips up to her store to pick up some stuff! I've got a lot of goodies from that store and once they grow out a little I'll be posting for some trades!

P.s. that zero edge tank with the LED light is amazing!!!!

I can't wait to see the pictures. I visit college buddies up there every month or so and have yet to make my rounds to see the LFS in the Orlando area.

Sea in the city is a very nice little store, I heard that Eco-reef ordered their zero edge aquarium and it should arrive anytime. I think they are going to make it into a clam tank, I can't wait to see it.

Dug up a picture of a zero edge I saw at a show earlier this year.

I would love to have one, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night worrying what fish I'd find on the floor the next morning

I talked to Larry at Eco Reef Aquarium today and they placed an order in for a 4'x3'x1' zero edge clam tank! I can't wait to see that thing in action once it's up.

i got a chance to visit sea in the city about a month ago. nice store, but over priced. did they have the 48" solaris set up when you went?

They are building a new tank for the Solaris 48" setup i believe. As far aas being overpriced, it could just be me but I think the opposite that they are fairly priced. They only get cultured and ORA stuff, and stuff propagated in house. They do not pull anything from reefs around the world. Id pay a little more to make sure the next generation of reefers actually can visit a real life reef.

I would wonder the same thing.

I would also assume that you would have to shut things down to clean your glass as well?

Since I've never seen one in person, I also have to wonder about distortion since you are viewing through a sheet of water.

It is actually very clear, I stuck my finger on it to see if it was really there...

This pair of maroons is THE ORA breading pair for the last 23 years. They were estimated to be around 2 years old when they were wild caught. ORA bread them for the last 23 years. So if you have an ORA maroon clown, odds are it came from these two. ORA retired them at Sea in the City. They have a plaque with all of this info coming, it's just not posted yet. Ask Marcye next time you're in there.
No I do not work for SITC, just a regular customer and friend of Marcye's.
