what are you guys using to feed your zoas? i'm getting ready to place an order for some inverts and food and figured I would ask. I have a little zoa garden going in a 24 Pod.

Thinking about ....
inverts: 1 emerald crab, cuke(any recs?) snails

food: using DTs right now but wanted to try something else.

Thanks
Steven

i dont think its necessary to feed zoas. they are mostly photosynthetic and do not need the addition of DT's or anything really.

IMO, the only polyps that benefit from feeding are those really large honking palys with polyps almost an inch across or bigger.

by trying to feed most of the zoas, i think its really just a waste of money on food, and adding exsessive polution to the tank which isn't necessary.

do some searches on the zoa forum about feeding. i know at least one thread pops up about feeding every couple of days.

I feed my corals Coral Frenzy... the palys for sure snags some and closes.. some of my zoas closes up also, not sure if they're eating or not.. I feed mostly for my LPS and if the zoas decide to eat, then they will.. LoLz.. :D also, sometimes, I dose with phyto...
