Zoa Eating Nudi Questions

I've done quite a bit of reading on these little bastards, but I have some unanswered questions/issues.

I originally found one nudi awhile back on a zoa colony I didn't dip (stupid me). Immediately ID'd and dipped the colony like crazy for quite some time. Its been at least 3 months since I've seen any degredation of my zoas and the same amount of time since I'd seen a nudi.

Fast forward to last night/yesterday. I looked at several zoa and paly colonies I have and several are closed up and several polyps are missing! Upon closer inspection of my Apocalypse Paly colony I see a small nudibranch thats the same color as the polyps. I also spotted several eggs. :(

I'm planning on dosing FWE tonight to help kill these bastards.

Now, the question is, will zoa eating nudis eat Palythoas? I've read on several articles that "many people only keep palys to avoid these nudibranches".

Will the nudibranches only lay eggs on their food source or will they lay them where they can?

I would just pick them out if you can with tweezers instead of dosing FWX - JMO.

I'm pretty sure they don't eat palys.

Typically, they lay eggs at the site of their food source.

There are all kinds of Nudibranchs that eat all kinds of pery. For a number, this is a Cnidarian. You could post a photo of the Nudibranch in question, as it may help, but many nudis have yet to be studied.

Just for fun and more info, here are some pics of the damage and the little buggers. (sorry the pics aren't so hot, my camera isn't amazing and I'm not a good photog)

You can clearly see an eggsack on one of the polyps.

Do an iodine dip on everything that you buy and QT if you can. I also inspect everything I buy. If corals have lots of nook and crannies that I can not see into I stay away from them unless I am in love with them.
