can you explain why you think something is wrong with them? only thing i can possibly see is possibly something chewing at the mat... hard to tell from that picture though. other then that i dont really see anything wrong with them??

The color looks a little washed out on the skirts and the oral disk looks a little flat and withered. They look as if they suffered light shock, maybe a little too much light too quick? IME, with this proto, to get that full bodied polyp with a deep purple they prefer to be shaded a touch with a strong indirect flow.

true, but with just this one picture and no other info besides help me its kinda hard to determine anything. hence the reason i asked him why he thinks something is wrong. the washed out color could be from him using a flash to take the picture. even the other polyps in this picture seem kinda washed out.

Sorry I didn't respond earlier. The outside skin on the polyps looks white; especially when they fully close, they just look white. I have some more frags of the same paly in another tank, and they look similar. By the way, with that picture, I did not use a flash. I was thinking that it might be some kind of a fungus. I was planning to dip it with Furan-2.
