i have an Eagle Eye colony and it is getting pretty large, i bought it as a frag so it is still an the original plug. i am stating to run out of room on my sand for something of its size, so i was wondering what are some ways to move it onto some LR. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

You could just cut the bottom half of the plug off and then superglue/epoxy the remainder somewhere on the rocks. The zoas will eventually grow over the top half and you'll never know it was there. HTH.

Or maybe place the whole thing as is on a rock. You could try to find a hole on the rock for the plug projection. You can glue only the extreme of the colony if you want. remove the algae where you're going to glue.
Try not to damage them while handling so they can open faster. Make a plan and do it as fast as you could. Give them some water flow and make sure there will be no light shock!

I think the light shock is very important. If they are on the sand bed and used to low light, be cautious on moving them to high lighted areas in your tank.

they also sell big flat discs you can put them on if you cut the original plug you can glue it on the disc and that way you don't have to move it off the sand and it will have lots of room to expand
