zoa pox in an established reef tank.

I've noticed recently that a rather large colony of Eagle Eyes has not been opening up lately. Upon closer inspection I'm seeing what might be zoa pox. Being that the tank is about 4 years old though, none of the rocks can be taken out of the tank. They're pretty much all fused together by other varieties of zoanthids, various sps corals, (montiporas) and certain softies. Is there anything I can do without having to take the whole tank apart to save my zoanthids if this is indeed zoa pox? Thanks.

100% sure its pox? very weird for it to attack after years
I find that new pieces get it easy but have never really seen it spread.

I tried to scrub the $h!t out of them with a toothbrush the other day, almost to the point where they were either oozing brown stuff or detaching. The white spots kind of went away, but I'm not sure if this will be back or not.

frag a few from the rock and dip in Furan 2, if the colony dies at least you can recover some of the zoas to seed a new colony.

Sorry it took me so long to post a picture of the infected zoas. (I've been sick) There are some zoanthids throughout the tank that look fine, but it does look like it's everywhere. I'm guessing there's absolutely nothing I can do about this? (dipping aside) Somebody said that sometimes these things will just go away on their own. Is that true?

Yeah, I just set up a 10 gallon nano not too long ago, and have pretty much everything from my 20 gallon tank in that one already. If worse comes to worse, I'll do like you said and move them back over. TY.
