Zoanthids and Frogspawn look very strange - Please Help

I have a small group of zoanthids (or button polyps??) that have 5 heads at the moment, for some reason the original two that the colony started with have recently started looking very odd. They are the two in the pics below that look sort of folded back or like an umbrella thats been opened. The heads appear to be swelling slightly and they have been stuck in this state for about 2 weeks now.

Any ideas on what might be prompting this reaction from them?









My next concern is about my frogspawn with 3 heads. Recently they have started looking odd as well. Sort of flat in the center with the oral disk exposed. Looking for any thoughts on this and what I should do to fix this.

I've had palys do that type of thing when I bump into them, but they go back to their normal state afterwards.

I have had that happen to some of my paly's and Zoas, but its never happened to all of them at one time. A good water change is a place to start once you check all of your water parameters.

Any critters irritating them? My cleaner constantly walks on mine which causes them to close, sometimes for extended periods.

That's normal for those type of zoanthids, as for the frogspawn idk

Possible the frogspawn might be getting too much flow?

I believe frogspawn expose their oral discs like that when they are hungry, you could spot feed him and see what happens. Not sure on the zoas.

Hey guys sorry been swamped with work and finally remembered to check back. Water parameters are all in check except magnesium was a little low. I'm going to try moving the frogspawn to an area with less flow and see what happens. I'm not sure what or how to spot feed them. I don't know that I have anything to contain the food either.

I would feed a small amount of mysis. Either a turkey baster or long tweezers. Turn off the pumps to control the food better.
