zoanthids changed colors.

My zoas changed color when i changed from pc to T5 do you think they changed or do you think its the bulb?

Sorry thats the best pics i have right now i need a new camera. They changed from blue to grey in the center and the mouth changed from green to grey.

The bulb being higher intensity most likely caused the zoanthids to change there color due to the change in lighting. Kinda like a sunscreen, they change or adapt to the new lights so they don't get burnt or bleached.

Most likely not under that lighting, if you was to go back then they might.

I had the exact same morphs, including the green/orange and green/grey ones next to them. Did you get them from a frag pack out of California? When mine arrived, the oranges had incredible blue centers. Now (under 2 14k 250w MH) the centers are grey. Its been 9 months and I don't expect them to change back.

I think so that sucks they looked way better than that old pic and i grew them every where and now there grey.

The center is looking blue again but solid blue and the mouth is orange now like the orange in my avatar whats going on? Only some of them are doing this.

It could be some can take it and some can't, I saw those in your avatar at an online shop did you buy some? Those are pretty sweet.

Well i moved them back down to the bottom of the tank and they turned back to there normal color thanks.

i have the same ones, and the more direct light they get the grayer the centers get.
