Zoanthids Closing Up

I have been noticing over the past month my Zoanthids are closing up, all water parameters are good, is it is possible that they have something that i can't see irritating them, and if so what can i use to dip them in?

Another great link. Is there a follow up to this one that explains the results from direct feeding? I have been looking into it and am still undecided if it is beneficial..

Here is a pick of my Sunny D's

Could be many many things...

I would start looking into your lighting, cause there are lots of people with LED issues. IME they started doing really well for a while and then problems would emerge. t5s won't give you such trouble!! :hmm4:
The last picture you posted was too blue...

Problems with bugs will normally come after you somehow introduce in the system. They normally start with the introduced zoas/corals.

Good parameters should have numbers, please.

Dipping should be done accordingly to the specific needs.

Grandis.

What year does the LED become a problem? I want to be sure to replace mine before I get there!
[/snark]

OP, I agree you may have pest issues if you have added anything recently. look closely with a red led light at night to try to hunt something down.

They dont have a set replacement time, he spews anti led rhetoric on most of his posts.

If it is just your zoanthids research dips for fungal/parasite/disease treatments. This being my advice if your other corals are looking good (relative term for many as some peoples looking good can be another persons looking terrible).
