Zoanthids gonna lose this battle??

I bought a rock of green zoanthids from a fellow reefer having a 'going out of business sale'. There are probably over 100 polyps on the rock...however...he must have had a colony of yellow polyps near the zoanthid rock at some point because there is 10 polyps of yellow polyps right on the border of the zoanthid mat. The zoanthids that are in contact with the yellow polyps do not look to hot...will they die? Will the yellow polyps kill and keep moving through my zoanthid colony? If so, how do I stop them???

yeah yellow polyps are pretty bad sometimes. I had some that won the battle with some zoas but lost it to others. Not all zoas are as aggressive as others IME. I killed the yellow polyps with joes juice but that was mainly bc I just dont like yellow polyps.

just cut off the yellow polyps rock and all
sell it on a local forum and buy some diff zoas
