Zoanthids - Shrinking and letting go

I have a plug - 2 plugs of zoas that until recently has done really quite well. they are under LED (dimmable). Until recently I mean at least two days I noticed significant change. Both plugs have members letting go. SO I wonder - move to a new location?

These plugs have become noticeably smaller, although the head count is the same. they seem to be THIN, but they open wide.

These colonies have were from the same originating tank. Another frag from the same original tank is big and happy.

I have moved one plug to a lower location in the tank, and will be moving the other one shortly.

The only major change was a mushroom blowing into the area and taking a spot directly above the colonies right in front of flow, so maybe any chemical it releases blows over them.

I have asked on other forums, but so far my question has gone under the radar.

I do have a 10 gallon, highly mature I can put these in. but the lights are t5HO.

Not accurately. I need to get a couple new kits to replace old ones and I found myself unemployed very recently. I need to replace my GH KH test because I was getting a real weird readings whenever I did it. I think its old.

Give me a bit of time. I will do a bit of testing - once my nail polish has hardened.

Nitrates: 25ppm (I have a fish and do small changes nightly)
Phosphate:.25
Ammonia: 0
Gravity 1.024

I am missing instructions to several tests. Including Calcium (API so if someone has that handy) I need to replace the aforementioned GH KH test

Went to buy more test kits, bank had a fit, interact went down.. I need to go back either tomorrow or friday.

I'd suggest moving the mushroom. I had a similar issue with a red w/white stripe tonga type mushroom that was touching a mystic sunset frag and those parts bleached over a few days time.

the m ushroom is well stuck, I moved the frags for now. they seem to be doing better by my gSP. I did find I have to move my sunny D's because the anthelia damaged it. I was gonna buy some test kits bu tmy bank decided to be a pain. interact shut down :(

Could be pods munching at the base. I've seen this first hand before. The frag/colony gets sick and the pods take advantage and eat away at the base. Try dipping in Coral Rx pro or whatever works for you and shine a flash light through the side of the CLEAR container and see if you see any small translucent pods fall off.
