Zoas dying?

I ordered some zoos recently and received them a week ago. They were shipped ground and I received them the next day. Five of the bags were DOA. Several of the bags looked so dark and smelly. Fedex didn't ring the doorbell since the company does not require a signature when being shipped in state. They sat in the hot sun for a while. I am in South Florida. Do you think the zoas could have gotten that bad that fast or was there a problem to begin with?

There are 5 other frags of zoas that have not opened in a week and some of the polyps look bloated and are just coming off. One just melted off completely. I think after this long they should have opened by now if they are going to survive.

What do you think?

When they melt away they r done. Id leave em in the tank til they melt away just incase cuz Ive had zoas close for weeks n re open (they usually morph). But urs was in alot of heat. Did they have a cool pack in the package?

There was a little baggie of water which I think was their "ice" pack.
