So I have a rock that has 2 different zoanthids on them. Everything was doing fine until I transferred everything to a larger tank a few weeks ago. Now for whatever reason, only one of the zoas does not want to open fully. They do open a little just not all the way. The other colony on the same rock is fully open and looks great.
It should be noted that I switched to Kessil ap700 LEDs and changed salts when I started this upgraded tank, however the lights are on acclimation mode so I'm not sure it's bright enough to annoy them, especially since like I said the other colony looks great. Being that everything was fine in the old tank, I think it's safe to say there are no pests bothering them.
Just trying to see if anyone has some sort of solution or answer that maybe I'm over looking here.
